STATESBORO - Darius Eubanks, a Georgia Southern alum and a former outside linebacker in the NFL, has been named the safety and nickels coach for the Eagle football program, as announced Thursday by head coach Clay Helton. Eubanks returns to Statesboro after stops at Liberty and Georgia State during his early coaching career.
"It feels like a full-circle moment to be back at Georgia Southern University," Eubanks said. "I want to thank Jared Benko, Coach Helton and all of Eagle Nation for the opportunity to pour into our young men here.
