FOLEY, Ala. – The Georgia Southern cross country team placed 11th at the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Friday morning at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve, improving one spot from last year's finish.
In her conference championship debut, Lauren Voutour paced the Eagles in 18:40.5 for 65th, with Hannah Douglas close behind in 18:58.4 for 70th. Veteran Tristen Crosby (19:05.1) and Katie Casto (19:13.9) kept the pack tight through the middle, while Elizabeth Stamey rounded out the scoring in 19:22.8 for 82nd. The Eagles added depth with Julia Wilson (19:28.
