The Eagles were able to overcome a three-run deficit ULM put up early in the first inning, answering with a seven-run inning in the bottom of the first.
Key plays in the first inning for the Eagles mainly consisted of two back-to-back home runs from Logan Harrell and Allyssah Mullis. The Eagles were then able to turn around in the second inning and add another run to their lead off of RBI single from Macy Coleman.
