NEW ORLEANS - Parker Claxton and Brantley Baker earned All-Sun Belt accolades in a vote by the league's 14 head coaches, the conference announced today.
Claxton, a junior from Claxton, Georgia, earned first-team all-conference honors for the first time in his career. He made the second team as a freshman and the third team last year, making him the fourth Eagle in program history to be a three-team All-Sun Belt selection. His season scoring average is 71.31, coming in 32 rounds, which is the 11th-lowest in program history. He took runner-up honors at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, shooting a 208 (-8) and tied for third at the Schenkel Invitational with a 210 (-6).
