STATESBORO, Ga. – With overcast skies and near perfect tennis weather the Georgia Southern men's tennis team continued their road trip with a matchup against ACC opponent Miami. The Hurricanes would defeat the Eagles 7-0. The Eagles will continue their trip to the Sunshine State tomorrow with a meeting against Florida Gulf Coast.
The Canes started hot in doubles play getting up 4-1 on court three and 4-2 on court two. Artemie Amari and Eddie Landin kept things close on court one pushing their match to 4-4, before it was suspended due to Miami clinching the doubles point.
