NORMAN, Okla. – Georgia Southern's Ben Carr has been named the men's golf SwingU NCAA Division I College Player of the Month, it was announced today.
Carr was named the Sun Belt Conference Golfer of the Week twice in March after winning the Schenkel Invitational March 19 and tying for second at the Colleton River Collegiate March 7 and at The Valspar Collegiate March 28. He led Georgia Southern to team tournament titles at the Colleton and Schenkel.
Carr posted a 68.56 scoring average during the month and shot par or better in eight of nine rounds.
