Basketball falls to KSU in first home game

The Georgia Southern women’s basketball team fell to Kennesaw State, 95-69, in the first home game of the season on Sunday.

After a slow start in the fourth quarter, seeing just 18 points for the Eagles, GS picked up the pace in the second quarter.

Junior guard Tatum Barber led the GS offense with 18 points and eight rebounds, with help from senior guard Alexis Brown. She put up nine points and cranked up the team’s momentum in the third quarter.

GS could not stop junior Owl Kamiyah Street, who led both teams with 32 points and four rebounds.
