The Georgia Southern Eagles went into the weekend looking for another set of victories and Saturday, April 20, they won the series against Coastal Carolina in Conway, South Carolina.
The roller coaster weekend started on Thursday night, April 18, for the Eagles.
Seth Shuman, the junior RHP, ended up getting his fifth win of the season by throwing 100 pitches in seven innings. He only allowed one run off five hits and struck out a total of six batters.
Shuman’s wins now outweigh his losses and there is more to come from his as the season continues to move forward.
