Zamir White set to join long line of top-10 running backs who have signed with Georgia

Georgia received a commitment from Zamir White, the nation’s top-ranked running back, on Tuesday.

Signing big-time prep running backs is almost an annual occurrence for the Bulldogs. White would become the 12th top-10 running back (using 247Sports’ composite rankings) to sign with Georgia since 2007.

Some top-tier backs have done well at Georgia. On the flipside, some haven’t.

Here’s a look at the top-10 backs Georgia has signed since 2007.

Caleb King: King was the nation’s fourth-ranked running back out of Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian. He redshirted as a true freshman, then played for the next three seasons.
