The No. 3 Georgia women’s tennis team defeated No. 22 Georgia Tech 4-1 on Thursday afternoon at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex in Atlanta, Ga. The Bulldogs improve to 3-0 on the season.
In doubles, on court three, junior Morgan Coppoc and SEC Freshman of the Week Lea Ma made quick work of Monika Dedaj and Sophia Sassoli defeating the duo 6-1. Katarina Jokic and Anna Hertel continued their strong start to the season defeating No. 51 Kenya Jones and Victoria Flores on court one, 6-3. The senior duo of Marta Gonzalez and Elena Christofi went unfinished on court two after Georgia picked up their third straight doubles point of the season.
