Wright State ends Diamond Dogs winning streak

Georgia baseball’s modest three-game winning streak came to an end Saturday, as the Diamond Dogs fell to Wright State, 3-1.

Starting pitcher Heath Holder never seemed to settle in. The fifth-year senior allowed two earned runs in the first two innings. After a scoreless frame in the third, Holder began the fourth inning by hitting Peyton Burdick with a pitch. Holder walked the next batter, John Brodner.
