The Georgia women’s tennis team defended their No. 3 ranking by defeating Notre Dame 5-2 at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Courts on Sunday afternoon in the championship match of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend event. With the win, the Lady Bulldogs will advance to the ITA Indoor National Championship Tournament which will be held from February 7-10 in Chicago, Illinois and will be returning to the tournament as defending National Champions.
In doubles, on court three, junior Morgan Coppoc and freshman Lea Ma made quick work of Ally Bojczuk and Bess Waldram, blanking them 6-0.
