WGOLF: Caterina Don Named All-American

Georgia’s Caterina Don was tabbed a second-team All-American by Golfweek on Monday.

Don, a freshman from Pinerolo, Italy, finished the 2019-20 season ranked No. 19 in the Golfweek/Sagarin national individual rankings. She led the Bulldogs in virtually every statistical category. Most notably, Don posted a 70.25 stroke average over 20 rounds, the fifth-best effort in program history. She also paced Georgia in par-or-better rounds (11), top-10 finishes (four), birdies (59) and counting percentage (100.0).

Don opened her collegiate career by capturing medalist honors at the Minnesota Invitational, becoming just the second golfer to win her debut at Georgia.
