In the second quarter of their game against Missouri, the Georgia Bulldogs were in need of a spark. Although they were up 10-0, the Tigers were driving and it had been a generally lackluster effort up to that point.
That’s when safety Richard LeCounte stepped up, skying to intercept a poorly placed Missouri pass and returned it 72 yards down the field, getting tripped up just yards shy of what would have been a pick-six.
The Dawgs would ultimately cash in on the turnover via a Rodrigo Blankenship field goal.
