From Napa High School, Bowers (6-foot-4, 225 pounds) is rated as the No. 3 tight end, the No. 11 player in California and the No. 92 prospect overall – according to 247Sports Composite.
The Bulldogs are getting a man amongst boys in Bowers, and he will obviously continue to grow before his arrival in Athens.
And even though he is a bigger guy, his speed doesn’t suffer. Bowers has a verified forty yard dash of 4.
