Redshirt freshman receiver Arian Smith chose to run track this spring for Georgia and he is proving himself as a legitimate contributor.
After finishing in eighth place with a 10.18 100m at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship earlier this month, his first collegiate track meet, Smith blew by his old time this weekend at the NCAA Track and Field East quarterfinals.
Smith qualified for the NCAA Championships with a 10.10 100m.
