The Diamond Dawgs wrap up the regular season this week with Missouri at Foley Field starting Thursday.
As that series begins, Georgia’s postseason path is very much in play.
With a 34-18 record and 14-13 in SEC play, the Diamond Dawgs are ranked as high as 25th depending on what ranking you look at.
So given that, this team is without question in the NCAA field. Where they’ll be? That depends on many things. The first of them is how this weekend goes. A series win, not to mention a sweep, would go a long way for Georgia in earning a top-16 national seed and the right to host a regional that comes with it.
