UGA’s Tyler Simmons, Tyrique Stevenson charged with disorderly conduct

Georgia football players Tyler Simmons and Tyrique Stevenson were charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a bar early Sunday morning, Athens Clarke-County police said.

Stevenson was sent to the Athens Clarke-County jail after an incident at The Cloud Bar on East Clayton Street. He was booked at 2:42 a.m. and released on a $1,000 bond less than an hour later at 3:26 a.m. Stevenson is an early enrollee and has been on campus for less than three months as a former five-star defensive back prospect.

Georgia senior wide receiver Tyler Simmons was also involved in the incident, according to Athens Clarke-County Police public information officer Geoffrey Gilland, who provided information to The Telegraph on Monday morning.
