Georgia’s Mecole Hardman is headed to play in the Super Bowl. Hardman and the Kansas City Chiefs ended a fifty year Super Bowl drought with their 35-24 win in the AFC Championship over the Tennessee Titans.
Mecole Hardman drew a key pass interference penalty to help ice the AFC Championship. Now, he’ll be playing in the Super Bowl instead of the Pro Bowl. Not a bad season for an NFL rookie.
Hardman, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs will face their toughest test to date: the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers don’t feature any former Georgia Bulldogs on their roster.
