Georgia's freshman quarterback Jake Fromm is known for leading the Bulldogs to their historic showdown against the Alabama Crimson Tide in January. But he's not out on the gridiron all the time - and took a break to visit a very special friend and fan at a Warner Robbins hospital on Friday.
Fromm made the 110 mile drive to visit Annabelle Whitaker, a high school classmate of his who is struggling with serious late-stage kidney disease, according to DawgNation.
The site reported that Fromm and Whitaker were paired together as freshman in high school as part of program that matched athletes and student with special needs.
