UGA pulls away in second half, beats Kentucky 21-0

It wasn’t pretty, but the Georgia Bulldogs did what they had to do to pull away from a pesky Kentucky team and win 21-0 to push their record to 6-1.

The first half was largely characterized by the game’s inclement weather, with the rain forcing both teams to primarily rely on the run. The score remained scoreless after an ugly half of football.

In the second half, the momentum changed when Kentucky shanked a punt, which gave Georgia the ball in Wildcat territory, leading to a D’Andre Swift touchdown.

The Bulldogs would then force a Kentucky fumble and capitalize with a Brian Herrien touchdown run.
