A reserve Georgia offensive lineman is leaving the program and has already found a new home.
Jake Edwards is transferring from the Bulldogs to Georgia Southern he said Friday afternoon, just after visiting the school in Statesboro.
“I told the coaches I was going to be going down there to play ball at Southern,” he said.
He said he got a release from Georgia last weekend and took a visit early in the week to Tennessee-Chattanooga before visiting Georgia Southern.
