Earlier this week, Jaguars RB and former LSU legend Leonard Fournette was arrested for driving on a suspended license after failing to pay a speeding ticket. Jets LB Jordan Jenkins, who played all four seasons at Georgia, took to twitter to defend Fournette:
I have to agree with Jordan Jenkins on this one. Fournette’s arrest shouldn’t be headline news considering the circumstances. The former LSU RB didn’t pay a speeding ticket and due to Florida law this suspended license, according to police.
Paying for the speeding ticket was probably the last thing on Fournette’s mind. Still, Fournette has to pay his speeding ticket fines like everybody else.
