The Georgia Bulldogs are offering scholarships to more and more players in the class of 2024. One of Georgia’s latest offers is to defensive back prospect. Jaylen Mbakwe.
Mbakwe is an unranked recruit at the moment, who is a freshman at Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama. The 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back has elite speed.
Mbakwe runs track, in addition to football, and ran an impressive 10.86 100 meter this past spring. Speed is extremely important at the defensive back position as evidenced throughout the 2021 NFL draft.
The Clay-Chalkville speedster has four scholarship offers at the moment, but the Georgia Bulldogs were the first to offer him.
