Toronto Blue Jays select UGA second-basemen on Day 2 of MLB Draft

In the seventh round of the MLB Draft, the Toronto Blue Jays selected Georgia second-basemen L.J. Talley at No. 207 overall.

A Peach State native, Talley was a very talented second-basemen out of Folkston, Georgia for the Bulldogs who had 78 hits and 8 home runs in his senior season.

With his selection, Georgia has now put four players into the 2019 MLB Draft through seven rounds including Aaron Schunk, Tony Locey, Tim Elliott, and Talley.

We wish L.J. the best in his pursuit of making the big leagues.
