A Muscogee County School District teacher is one more selection away from receiving $1 million.
Eric Crouch, a fifth-grade teacher at Double Churches Elementary School, is among the 50 international finalists for the 2019 Global Teacher Prize.
The winner is scheduled to be announced at the 2019 Global Education and Skills Forum, March 22-24, in Dubai.
Candidates must spend at least 10 hours per week teaching children face--face and must plan to remain in the teaching profession for at least the next five years. Application are judged based on the following criteria:
