Georgia sophomore Anna Hall has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) South Region Women’s Field Athlete of the Year with the NCAA Indoor Championships just more than a week away.
This marks the seventh year in a row that either the Bulldog men or women have earned at least one of the regional indoor honors. Hall follows fellow sophomore teammate Jasmine Moore who was the 2020 USTFCCCA South Region Women’s Field Athlete of the Year. Moore was later a finalist for last year’s National Women’s Field Athlete of the Year. In fact, there have been seven Georgia winners of the South Region Women’s Field Athlete of the Year since the award’s inception in 2006.
