Surprising Lack Of Georgia Players On Preseason All-SEC Teams

The lack of Georgia players on the All-SEC First-Team list has been a big topic of discussion among Georgia fans after the list was released Friday.

Members of the media flocked to Atlanta last week where they voted on the All SEC Teams. Bulldog fans everywhere were shocked to find that only three players from the SEC Championship winning team found themselves receiving first-team spots, while Alabama holds seven first-team spots. The only Georgia players that were selected to the first-team were defensive backs Deandre Baker and J.R. Reed, and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship. Overall, Georgia had twelve players to be voted onto one of the three lists.
