Sugar Bowl Halftime Report: Special Teams, Miscues Costly

Related Topics: Georgia Bulldogs, Half-time, Allstate

The No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs got off to a disastrous start in this year’s Allstate Sugar Bowl, thanks to special teams miscues and an unfortunate fumble.

However, the Bulldogs were able to scratch and claw their way back into the game before halftime, with a Brian Herrien touchdown.

Sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm took a significant sack on the ensuing drive and the Dawgs head to the lockers trailing by 13 points.

Georgia will receive the second-half kickoff but after a 15-yard penalty on Tyler Simmons, any hopes of a big return are now most likely gone.
