Subpar SEC spring game attendance could mean good news for Georgia

Spring football has always been taken lightly by the fans as a ‘glorified scrimmage’ and a chance for young ones or the family to experience a gameday-like atmosphere in their favorite team’s college town before the long summer months ahead.

With that being said, the last few seasons, coaches have tried to turn the games into an attendance race, given the competition of recruiting in today’s day and age.

Often times, like Coach Kirby Smart did in 2016, a first-year head coach will challenge the fanbase to pack its stadium and show out or just ask fans to come following a successful season.
