You have to feel bad for the old ball coach.
On Saturday, Steve Spurrier and his South Carolina Gameocks suffered a brutal loss to the Georgia Bulldogs, 52-20. Generally, Spurrier is full of life and is capable of entertaining his audience regardless of the platform.
However, the loss to Georgia really seemed to take the wind out of his sails.
Spurrier was clearly upset with his team’s performance and his post-game press conference was especially depressing. It’s pretty difficult to watch the coach moping around after such a shellacking.
