Starting safety Kyron Jones has been dealing with a foot injury for two weeks now. He missed Georgia’s game against Ole Miss two weeks ago, and at the time Kirby Smart said he was out “indefinitely.”
That term creates a lot of suspicion about when Jones could return. There’s a chance he could be out for the season or that he could return after a few weeks, no one really knew. But Smart shared another update on Monday about his health, and it sounds like Jones could be back on the field sooner than expected.
