In a press release, CBS announced the 2019 opening SEC on CBS game will be Alabama at South Carolina on September 14th. The Georgia-Florida game is locked in for November 2nd at the usual 3:30 time slot.
On September 21st, there’s a doubleheader at 3:30 and at 8:00. Georgia plays Notre Dame that week. Bulldog fans are hoping for the Dawgs to get the 8:00 spot. It’d be surprising for the Bulldogs-Fighting Irish match-up to not be at 8:00, but there’s some competition that week with a Tennessee-Florida game and a Texas A&M-Auburn game. Still, neither one of those games projects to be a top five match-up like UGA-Notre Dame.
