Georgia freshman quarterback Jake Fromm has been pushing sophomore Jacob Eason since he arrived on campus in January. That said, he’s unlikely to unseat the Bulldogs’ starter this fall.
Former Georgia offensive lineman and current SEC Network analyst Matt Stinchcomb was on the broadcast of UGA’s G-Day game Saturday. He saw Fromm’s impressive performance first-hand. Stinchcomb discussed Georgia’s two young quarterbacks Tuesday when he joined “The Cube Show” on WUMP-AM/FM in Huntsville, Ala. He believes competition between the two could be good — to a point.
“I think that’s probably good for Georgia offensively overall,” Stinchcomb said on the show.
