Twitter is currently buzzing with rumors of a Georgia vs. Iowa matchup happening this Saturday, Dec. 19.
Georgia’s matchup against Vanderbilt, which was postponed from the original date of Dec. 5, was officially cancelled on Monday due to COVID-19. The 6-2 Iowa Hawkeyes were set to play Michigan this Saturday but that game was also cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
The reason there is so much buzz for this game to happen is because positive test results came back from Vanderbilt and Michigan, while Georgia and Iowa currently have no positive COVID-19 tests.
