Reports: Georgia DL coach Tracy Rocker is no longer with the program

Georgia is looking for a new defensive line coach with the reported departure of Tracy Rocker. Multiple outlets reported Tuesday afternoon that Rocker — a longtime SEC assistant who has been at the school since 2014 — no longer is with the program.

Rocker, an Auburn alum, coached previously at at Auburn, Ole Miss and Arkansas. He spent the three seasons before arriving at Georgia as the Tennessee Titans’ defensive line coach.

In addition to his touted teaching ability, Rocker was considered one of the better recruiters on the staff.

Rocker, who won the Outland and Lombardi trophies at Auburn, was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
