Over the summer, former South Carolina tight end Tori Gurley joined The Paul Finebaum Show and guaranteed that the Gamecocks would pick up the week-two victory over Georgia.
The Birmingham native revived those comments on Monday, tweeting:
“I said it back in July on the Finebaum show!!! Gamecocks over the Bulldogs!!! ”
As expected, Georgia coaches have taken notice of Gurley’s tweet.
According to UGA beat writer Brandon Sudge, Georgia has taped 48 copies of Gurley’s words on to one wall in the football facility.
I wonder if Gurley knows how trash talking Georgia worked out for other teams last year?
