According to Dan Wolken of USA Today Sports, Georgia quarterback Justin Fields intends on transferring to another program.
Wolken noted that his source requested to stay anonymous because “the school has not yet acknowledged the transfer.”
Fields came to Georgia as the top player in the country in the 2018 class, where he joined a quarterback room that featured SEC All-Freshman quarterback Jake Fromm.
With the departure of Jacob Eason, another former five-star quarterback, it cleared up some space for a two-quarterback battle in Athens. Fromm won and kept his starting job throughout the 2018 season.
