Georgia redshirt freshman offensive lineman Mirko Jurkovic’s career is over before he ever saw the field for the Bulldogs. Two knee injuries mean he must give up football.
Dawgs247.com reported Monday afternoonthat Jurkovic, a three-star recruit in the 2015 class, has been medically disqualified. Jurkovic suffered a knee injury in fall camp last season and missed all of 2015. The report says he suffered a similar injury to the other knee during spring practice.
Jurkovic, who played his senior high school season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., originally signed with Ohio State but was not admitted.
