Georgia is looking to land America’s top ranked recruit in the class of 2022, and according to a report from 247Sports recruiting expert Barton Simmons, the Dawgs are in good shape to do so.
Strong-side defensive end Shemar Stewart (Monsignor Pace/Opa Locka, Florida) ranks as the nation’s No. 1 recruit for the class of 2022. The 6-foot-5, 236 pound sophomore apparently has four schools that are at the top of list, wrote Simmons.
Stewart has a five-star list of suitors and has already indicated that Miami, LSU, Georgia and Oregon are among his favorites.
