Report: former Georgia safety Deangelo Gibbs has found a new team

According to a report from 247 Sports, former Georgia safety Deangelo Gibbs has found a new landing spot. The Loganville native is enrolled at the University of Tennessee now and will be continuing his collegiate career with the Volunteers.

Gibbs came to Athens as a four-star out of Grayson High School. He was ranked the 49th overall prospect in the 2017 signing class and 4th at the safety position, while also being 6th in the state of Georgia. As a prospect, Gibbs looked heavily at the Bulldogs and Volunteers, though ultimately choosing Georgia.

He has been missing from classes in Athens since the Sugar Bowl and was no longer enrolled at the university as of last week.
