Defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter missed practice earlier this week, and it was widely reported that this was due to the senior defensive end having tweaked his ankle. Thus, it was assumed that his return to practice marked the end of a minor injury. The reality of the situation could be slightly more concerning.
Radio personality Logan Booker of 960 The Ref and WGAU, reported this morning that Ledbetter actually aggravated a nagging achilles injury, and this is was what caused him to miss practice. This is an injury that Ledbetter played through all of last season, as well.
