JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jake Fromm threw three touchdown passes in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party and No. 7 Georgia beat ninth-ranked Florida 36-17 in Jacksonville on Saturday.
Georgia capitalized on three Gator turnovers to beat Florida for the second straight year.
Fromm, coming off a difficult game at LSU, completed 17 of 24 passes for 240 yards and three, third down touchdowns. Jeremiah Holloman had 16 and 11-yard TD receptions and senior Terry Godwin caught a 24-yard corner route for a score.
The Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1) entered the game with a lot of questions surrounding the team after being man handled by LSU two weeks ago.
