On Saturday, four-star 2020 quarterback and Georgia commit Carson Beck announced that he will be coming back to Athens this week.
Beck is considered to be a pro-style quarterback standing at 6’4″ and weighing 226 pounds. He is from Jacksonville, Florida and stars for Mandarin High School. He committed to become a Dawg on March 3rd after receiving offers from many other top schools, including rivals Florida and Alabama.
Beck figures to engage in a quarterback competition with D’Wan Mathis, who recently graduated high school and is set to join the Dawgs in 2019 after a recent brain surgery scare from which he is expected to recover, if Jake Fromm elects to head to the NFL after the upcoming 2019 season.
