Georgia football became the laughing stock of the SEC for the week after losing to Alabama for the seventh time in the Kirby Smart era this weekend. While there is no way to excuse this loss, there were a lot of positive takeaways for Georgia from this game.
Most notably is the fact that Georgia was one or two plays away from being the team that emerged victorious. Nick Saban of all people recognized how close Georgia was to beating his former employer, and because of that he issued a word of warning to the rest of the SEC.
