Kirby Smart gained a top-tier linebacker recruit last night after 4-star prospect Nick Abrams announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs. Abrams made his commitment live on the 247Sports YouTube page surrounded by his friends and family and chose the Bulldogs over Michigan, Oregon, and Alabama.
When making his choice, Abrams shared a bit about why he chose the Bulldogs and some of the words that Smart shared with him, and it was actually part of the reason he chose Georgia over the other schools.
"Coach Smart let it be known that it's hard work," Abrams said.
