Georgia football is fresh off their season opening win against Marshall where they dominated in all facets of the game en route to their 45-7 victory. To be fair, it's impossible to crown UGA as the best team in the country based only on this result because Marshall was severely overmatched, but it was easy to see that Georgia has the talent make a run at a championship this season.
Based on the fact that Georgia hasn't played any tough competition yet and a few other schools earned some big wins last weekend, it is fine to have a few team ranked higher than Georgia right now.
