In what will be the 32nd NCAA Quarterfinals appearance in program history for the University of Georgia men’s tennis team, the 11th-seeded Bulldogs are set to take on No. 3 seed Tennessee in the 2021 NCAA Men’s Tennis Quarterfinals today at 11 a.m. ET.
Tomorrow’s matchup marks only the fourth NCAA Tournament meeting between Georgia and Tennessee. The Bulldogs own a 2-1 record for the three prior meetings in 2001 (Finals: UGA 4, UT 1), 2010 (Semifinals: UT 4, UGA 1) and most recently in the 2011 quarterfinals, in which Georgia ousted the Volunteers, 4-3.
“Our team is excited after Monday’s performance,” Georgia head coach Manuel Diaz said.
