Senior golfer Davis Thompson will represent the University of Georgia and the United States this week in the Arnold Palmer Cup.
The event will take place Monday through Wednesday at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Fla. Originally scheduled to be played July 3-5 at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland, the event was postponed and relocated due to the coronavirus. The inaugural Arnold Palmer Cup was staged at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in 1997.
The Arnold Palmer Cup uses a Ryder Cup-style format and pits American collegiate golfers against their counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland.
