Instead of playing a true road game this season, Georgia will face Georgia Tech at a neutral site in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This game is still considered a home game for Georgia Tech since they forfeited the right to play at home for a $10 million payday, but in reality this game will not feel like a road game at all.
In fact, this matchup will have more of a home game feel to it for a lot of reasons, and wide receiver London Humphreys explained why.
“Just having some experience, like you said, it’s almost like a home game feeling in how you’re just familiar with the stadium as simple as, like, getting off the buses and walking through the tunnels to the locker room,” wide receiver London Humphreys said via dawgnation.
